Email marketing?

Email marketing is not spam or unsolicited junk mail, but regular email sent to people who want to receive it.  It’s about asking people to ‘opt-in’ (permission marketing).

By asking questions you will find that your audience has thought about your company for a few minutes more than they would have normally.

This is good promotion in itself, but more importantly, you have demonstrated that you care about their needs and you want to give them a better service.

The effectiveness of permission email marketing results from the willingness on the part of the recipient. .......that's why it works.

Email marketing can give added value to other marketing campaigns and can give huge value on its own when used for the right industry and when targeted to a specific audience.  It is used not only for newsletters, but you could also inform people about new case studies, industry announcements, and any other useful and interesting information.  This could be back-up or re-enforced by an email newsletter a week later.
